Tucked away in an area that has a breakfast/brunch restaurant next door. So, you must drive if you want something to eat or call Uber or some of those type places to bring it to the hotel. The hotel serves breakfast but it is hardly a step up from Hampton Inn. The attendant seemed like she was ready to go home for the day. It cost $ 10 a person. Not worth it in my estimation. They do have a bar for drinks, plenty of parking and parking lot is well lit. Rooms: It was clean, but the soap dispenser was in the way of the water handle and you had to pull the lever really hard. Who knows how long it has been like that. My husband showed it to the guy at the front desk and he could not believe it. Also, the tile by the coffee maker looks to have stains in your grout. You really can't tell unless the light is on. Bed was comfortable.

Our experience at the Hilton Garden Inn left me with mixed feelings. It's a bit out of the way, but I appreciated its distance from any major roads, because the whole hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The parking lots are filled with tall trees that make for a pleasant view; it didn't feel like metro Atlanta at all. The inside of the hotel was less enjoyable. The staff was impeccable; the woman who checked us in was especially congenial and charismatic, as were the rest of the staff we interacted with. The issue was with the run-down energy of the hotel. Aside from the lobby and the carpet that runs throughout the building, with a flower pattern that looked modern and clean, the rest of the hotel, especially the light fixtures and furniture, felt in need of some major updates. Cheap 90s sconces, popcorn ceilings, etc. In my opinion, the fixtures felt very outdated. Our room, a double queen, felt clean for the most part- except for the bathroom. I noticed that the tiles in the shower had a bit of build-up in the grout, indicating that they hadn't been cleaned a while. Additionally, the room was frigid when we entered, which I enjoyed, but the rest of my party did not. We attempted to turn off the air conditioning unit, but it seemed to have no change. Overall, this hotel is decent for the price but is in need of a major update inside. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling and need a cheap place to stay in Atlanta but want to avoid the city. My favorite parts of my stay were the view from the room and the staff. Overall, I would rate my experience as a 3 of 5. Not awful, but Paris would definitely be disappointed.
